7:00 am - Whew!

So - it's 7 am. We're currently going through the South side of the storm. Not nearly as strong as the what we went through on the West side as it was coming through. However, still strong. We do not have power. No one around has power. Centerpoint is reporting nearly all 2 Million of their customers do not have power. Only folks with power are those in downtown Houston and the medical center because their power lines are buried not overhead.

I'm a little interested to see what all has happened around the house during all these winds. Really not much rain to deal with - it truly was the winds. We know we were getting definite Hurricane Winds. Hobby airport more to our north had winds at 92 mph.

We're ok... we're safe. John slept through most of it. I, of course, did not. :-)
