2:40 am - Ike Update

It's 2:40 am, Ike is coming through and we are right now going through the eyewall of Ike. We didn't prepare properly expecting winds from the South instead of North. Since we are on the west side we are getting hurricane force winds from the North. So far, the windows are doing fine, but boy...the winds sure are whipping around. No power on my side of the street.... yes... the other side of the street still has their power!! Not sure how... but they do. Ours went out at 11:11 pm. If you're wondering how I'm posting this.... have a Verizon card in my work computer and battery. signing off now.....
