Just for the record... the kids are fine as well. Finally got a hold of them via Rob and while they didn't have power, they are high and dry and were sleeping. They are not going anywhere for a little while since the areas around there are currently flooded. So, it's a good day to just stay in place.
Luckily, the temperatures are not too warm quite yet. Tomorrow is forecasted to be near 90 degrees but a little blessing from God is an expected cold front to actually make it down here Sunday night and bring lows in the high 50's/low 60's and high's in high 70's/low 80's. Will make not having air conditioning A LOT more comfortable.
We're starting to clean up around here... propping up fences, taking down the boards and just cleaning up. Can't really start cutting up the wood from the tree branches until power comes on, so we're just doing what we can. Next on the list is to get the generator setup to run a fan, the refrig, freezer, tv and a fan.
About to lose battery power in the computer, so have to signoff now.
